Innovate Finance, the independent industry body that represents and advances the global fintech community in the UK, has just released its prestigious annual Women in FinTech Powerlist. Daniela Binatti, Co-Founder and CTO at Pismo, is highlighted on the list as a senior leader in the financial services industry.
The Women in FinTech Powerlist shines a spotlight on women leading innovation in financial services. It’s released yearly on International Women’s Day. “The transformation of financial services is being driven by passionate, inspiring female leaders representing all levels of seniority and all components of the FinTech ecosystem,” wrote Janine Hirt, CEO at Innovate Finance.
The list is now in its seventh year. Its creators say they received thousands of nominations for this edition, “highlighting that there is certainly no lack of female talent within the sector!”
Daniela was featured as one of the senior leaders in the industry, described as “truly driving forward change within the fintech space, above and beyond their day-to-day role. They have excelled in their career, but are also passionate about helping others make progress in theirs – through mentoring, setting up support groups to share experiences or voluntary work.”
This description fits Daniela perfectly. She co-founded Pismo in 2016 after many years leading several projects as an executive in the financial services industry. Her idea was to create a cloud-based platform for banking and payments using cutting-edge technologies. And she has led the design and development of the Pismo platform since then.
Daniela strives to create an equal working environment and encourages other women to evolve as technology professionals. For this purpose, she has volunteered at organisations that teach computer science to women.
You can see the complete Women in FinTech Powerlist 2021 on the Innovate Finance website.
Congratulations to all the women featured in the Power List!
