Pismo works with various industry-leading companies to provide next-generation solutions in banking and payments. One of those companies is Codefresh, which provides of an enterprise software delivery platform that works deeply integrated with Argo, an open-source toolset for GitOps.
Codefresh highlighted its partnership with Pismo in a business case showcasing effective software development and deployment.
Getting code into production in rapid time is a cornerstone of Pismo’s ability to provide innovative services. But so is maintaining a stable and reliable platform that meets security and governance requirements.
Pismo used Codefresh and Argo to build a GitOps-based platform where pipelines, triggers, apps, deployments and rollouts can be defined and operated automatically.
Now Codefresh is our go-to tool for continuous deployment and integration management and has eliminated previous manual processes.
Fitting in with existing services provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and DataDog, Pismo deployments became fully automated, safer, and require less firefighting from our software developers.
A video with our Principal Engineer
Pismo Principal Engineer, Renato Stocco, appeared in a Codefresh video to discuss how we collaborate.
“We can deploy and have automatic rollbacks, and after that, there’s no more maintenance – it just works,” he said.
Stocco outlines how he works closely with engineers and knows their “pain” when it comes to the frustrating aspects of the deployment. But with Codefresh, he says, those pain points are gone, and everything worked out of the box.
You can read the case study and watch the full video on the Codefresh website.
Stocco also recently appeared on a panel of experts to talk more about Pismo’s integration of the Codefresh platform.
