Excitement was in the air in Singapore as November drew near. This is when the fintech industry gathers for a week of festivities and networking. Pismo had our fair share of the limelight during the week.
It started with Pismo making an appearance in a forum on embedded finance. Varun Dudeja, Pismo’s Head of Business Development in Asia Pacific, was a panellist in a forum on embedded finance organised by La French Tech. He talked about how APAC’s banking and financial services landscape has evolved and explained how Pismo is helping financial institutions and fintechs worldwide.
He said Pismo’s platform enables embedded financial services through its next-generation capabilities. Varun appeared alongside speakers from Mastercard and Idemia. The panel discussions took place in the evening, followed by networking drink sessions.
The week continued through to the full showcase of the Singapore Fintech Festival. The event took place in Singapore between 2 and 4 November. This festival is an annual event, and last week’s edition was the seventh iteration.
The festival saw 50,000 visitors from all over the world and the fintech industry. The participants included tech firms, founders, tech experts, and investors. For the first time in three years, attendees could talk in person, and Pismo is proud to have been a part of this global reunion.
